Groups Directory – The companion to our main directory, we list organizations and publish valuable details about them. With your help, we will make it a hub for organizations and leaders to reach out beyond their geographic region and network both with students and other educators around the world.
Library – Visit the Reading Library for great reads on BDSM life, education and culture. Help yourself to our ever-growing Visual Library, featuring hundreds of rare and historic BDSM/Fetish images; and select your next party playlist from our Music Library of kink-themed songs.

You will help us spread the message that BDSM education is the foundation for a safe, satisfying and consensual kink. You will get to support the leaders and legends of the Scene, along with exciting fresh faces who are making their own mark. You will show your support for inclusiveness and equality. You will be part of a new movement to focus on our Community’s strengths and not its weaknesses. You will help your Community be a smarter, safer and kinder place for all.

Our ambitions for BED are mighty but to achieve them we need your help. Over the next five years, we envision creating a private membership area for networking and discussion, offering educational modules and certification to people who want professional training in BDSM and sex education, internship and fellowship programs, streaming events hosted by BED, and an authoritative digital reference library for kinky people the world over. Who knows? One day, there could even be t-shirts and pins! Priorities, right?

IMAGINE WHAT BED CAN BUILD
Membership area = QUALITY SOCIAL NETWORK: this private membership area will be a respite for all kinky armchair travelers. It will be a private hub for kinky people to professionally network with other BDSMers, and discuss anything and everything related to BDSM teaching and learning.
Education and Training: BED wants to innovate new ways to bring the kind of training and education that’s been limited to in-person workshops online and to reward students with certifications for completing standardized modules.
Internships and Travel Aid: We hope to start a student internship program by 2020, and to help BDSM Educators in need with grants so they can travel to events.
BED Talks: We promote using technology to break down boundaries, so we’d like to do some breaking of our own by creating hosted conferences with special speakers that we will upload to youtube, free to all. In an increasingly censored Internet environment, we believe BED will become an essential component of keeping the BDSM educational process alive during even the most stressful of times.
Directories and Digital Libraries: Our primary resources are our gift to you. We will never charge a fee for vetting you, listing you, or announcing that you’ve joined us. Similarly, the Library is a free resource for BDSMers around the world. Still, it takes money to code and to develop, which means hiring professionals equipped to handle advanced coding.
