NEW FOR APRIL!!  Our Board voted last week to offer sponsors and advertisers an Early Bird Special.   Or, as I like to think of it, BED’s Big Black And Blue Plate Special.

From now until October 1st, all advertisers and supporters will get a lifetime guaranteed rate of $200 per year for their 12-month ad.  Your renewal rate is locked in at $200!  As your traffic builds this year, so will your exposure.  In return, Gloria will thank you on her blog and social media platforms for your support and post your links there too in thanks, giving you international exposure to 100K followers around the world.

Starting October 2nd, our rates will rise to $250/year and with no guarantee on renewal rates.  The Board will re-evaluate rates again in 2019.   So please join us now, when the rates are good and the gratitude overflowing.

Your BED donation goes directly to making BED thrive.  As the first fully-vetted directory of educators and educational organizations, you will be part of a movement to instill ethics and professionalism into our Community life.   We believe the BDSM education is the foundation for a safe and pleasurable life as a kinky person.   Support our inclusionary platform!  Let’s focus on our Community’s strengths and create a smarter, safer and happier Community for all.

Gloria’s been footing the bill for this project and her feet are very small.  We’ll be spending your money to pay Internet bills, build web infrastructure (getting a great search engine professionally installed is a high priority),  and give back to the BDSM/Fetish/Leather Communities.  For example, BED will include a stuffer in SELF 2018’s registration package and are currently seeking other low-cost ways to represent at events.

We launched barely 2 months ago so this is just the very beginning.  Our ambitions for BED are mighty but to achieve them we need your help.  Over the next five years, we envision creating a private membership area for networking and discussion, offering educational modules and certification to people who want professional training in BDSM and sex education, internship and fellowship programs, streaming educational conferences or Summit events hosted by BED, and an authoritative digital reference library for kinky people the world over.   Who knows? One day, there could even be t-shirts and pins!  Priorities, right?

If all of Gloria’s dreams could come true, BED will one day be staffed by salaried BDSMers and have an internship program to train new generations of professional educators and organizational administrators. But first — pins!

IMAGINE WHAT BED CAN BUILD

Membership area = QUALITY SOCIAL NETWORK:  the commercial-free private membership area will be a respite for all kinky armchair travelers.  It will be a private hub where BDSMers can talk about events, network with other BDSMers, support their favorite BED groups and teachers, and talk about what works, and what doesn’t, in producing good events and reputable speakers.  It will by and for adults committed to a safer, smarter, and well-educated Community.  No more random sleaze, just adults talking about the important stuff.  Moderators will make sure of it.

Education and Training:  Gloria and many of her peers are fully competent to provide in-depth education and training to prospective educators, organizers, counselors working with kinky populations, and more.  BED wants to innovate new ways to bring the kind of training and education that’s been limited to in-person workshops online and to reward students with certifications for completing standardized modules.

Internships and Fellowships: Once we are operating in the black, and have built our web infrastructure, we will set aside funding to help students in need with grants to help them gain experience in BDSM education (by working for BED) and providing financial assistance so they can travel to events.

BED Talks:  We promote using technology to break down boundaries, so we’d like to do some breaking of our own by creating hosted conferences with special speakers that we will upload to youtube, free to all, along with an annual Educational Summit, a more formal event with audience participation allowed.  In an increasingly censored Internet environment, we believe BED will become an essential component of keeping the BDSM educational process alive during even the most stressful of times.

Directories and Digital Libraries:  Our primary resources are our gift to you.  We will never charge a fee for vetting you, listing you, or announcing that you’ve joined us.  Similarly, the Library is a free resource for BDSMers around the world.  Still, it takes money to code and develop, which means hiring professionals equipped to handle advanced coding.  The more Library money we have, the bigger we can build a consolidated resource for everything BDSM/Leather/Kink educational, and search engines that will put the info you need at your fingertips immediately.

AD SPECS

We are accepting graphics and banner ads (with links) from merchants, professionals and groups who want to support our mission.  Your graphic on our site must be a static ad (jpg preferred) and PG-rated (no nudity).   Include a link that goes to your landing page.  Please use these standard Web banner sizes for your reference: 468X60, 728X90, 336X280, 300X250.  If you are interested in a full-page sponsorship, ask Gloria about rates.  She is your point person on ads drgloriabrame@gloriabrame.com
