In the last week, we’ve also screened and accepted two stellar volunteers. At this early stage, I’ve asked that everyone who volunteers pick their projects of choice and I’m so happy with the results, because it allows them to match their skill sets and personal passions with our needs, and well, that’s all kinds of great. We adore when people enjoy the work they do here. We also have a lot of needs that volunteers can fill.
One new volunteer has both the academic credentials and personal passion for BDSM Education to take our Reading Library to new levels. The second is Social Media-savvy and has design experience and graphic skills. She will help BED build a social media presence, something we are sorely lacking. Your Educatrix is extremely grateful to have two more awesomely talented people join this educational initiative. I’ll be posting their names and some biographical info to the About page soon so you can get to “meet them,” in their official capacities.
Finally, thanks to a FOAF of the BED Board, we expect to have a new and MUCH improved logo for BED in the next week or so! The Board has been reviewing and discussing some final designs and will vote on it shortly. So far we are excited. And then we’ll need t-shirts. 😀
