I’m sharing TammJo’s educational mission statement with you to inspire educators who want to do more to change how we are perceived.

My educational mission in regards to BDSM is two-fold. Within BDSM community, I want to help everyone become the best versions of themselves that they can through both factual and experiential exchanges. I do this through events as small as individual munches and group meetings to multi-day conventions. Outside of the BDSM community, I strive to inform those with little to no information about the various kink communities about the realities versus the fiction they may see, hear, and read about everything we kinky folk may do. I do this through my published writing, occasional online blog posts or discussions, as well as at science fiction, fantasy, and horror conventions.
