I’m so pleased to be able to include this piece by Allena Gabosch in the BED Reading Library. Those of us who belong to various kink/kink-adjacent communities have seen a lot of upheaval in the past few years—but it’s not new. Allena gives us some excellent insights into horizontal violence and othering in our communities, where these negative activities originate, and how we can take part in helping to create healthier and safer communities for ourselves and others. ~Skye

I’d like to talk about the “hets bring negative energy to a space” thing. I don’t want to start an argument. I just feel like I need to talk to someone about it. Does anyone else want to be listened to or listen?
